This weekend I re-recorded 6 songs with a guitar finally in tune and a borrowed amp. The sound is better, but I´m not really pleased since the new amp doesn´t sound like "me". But the other guys says I never sounded better! WTF? :)))))) /Peter

Trial By Fire

A weekend of serious trial and error. First up, the POD.
Didn't work out. I will leave it at that. Now I put my trust
in the amp I will borrow this coming week.
In the meantime, all my axes is in rehab,
so it's all in the future to come. On top of it all,
it seems I have to retire my dear, old Marshall amp!*sniff*.

Down On 10

Here comes the sucker-punch,,,,
This afternoon, Björn and I went to studio to

figure out what was wrong with my amp.

We found the source and Björn listened to

what I had recorded, and the verdict is;

-Everything that I have recorded have to be

re-recorded from scratch.
-It seems that I can´t use my beloved Marshall

amp on this album. More on that later.
-My guitars won´t stay in tune, and I can´t tell why,

so they´re going back to my tech.

Good Things Never Last

Recorded two more songs tonight.
The guitar-sound was OK, but instead I had trouble
with the intonation (couldn´t get my guitars to stay in tune).
It was getting late so instead me and Rick
went over to Chris (Conny's younger brother)
and borrowed a digital amp that I will try out this weekend.
Tomorrow, Björn Andersson (former bandmember,
longtime friend and technical wonder), will visit and we
will listen together and reach a verdict for the future.
