Stiff Competition !

So, while the band are patching up tracks and loose ends
in the studio, let's do something much more groovy! :)
Directly from the mighty M.O.B Vaults, here is the 6 last
existing copies of the ultra-rare CD-single "High On Emotion"
up for grabs! Just answer one piece-of-cake easy question
and be one of the first six to have the right answer, and You
will have this little treasure in Your mailbox in no time!
This one-track CD-single was issued in 1992, by a record
company that ceased to exist shortly after it's "release".
It was only made in about 100 copies, since they only
printed promo copies! So here is the question! ;
1; Which song is the second song on the "Loony Tunes" album?
Now, send Your answer, along with Your shipping address
to mob_rockz@hotmail.com. If You are amongst the first
six with the correct answer, we will notify You! Good Luck!

Four Wheel Drive !

After a nice sunny sunday afternoon in the park, the band
gathered in the studio to record bass and lead vocals for
3 songs, and to enjoy each others company.
Today was actually the first time during 2007,
all 4 of us was in the studio room together!
Spirits were high, Roger filming the whole event, and all 3
songs were recorded and mixed in demo mode within a few
intense hours. Conny did a real quick job with his bass,
although badly hangovered, and Fred screamed his way
through it all, see picture! :) Now, with this being said and
done, Peter will finish up "Back On Track" this coming week,
and then Conny will continue laying down bass tracks.
Rumours says Conny will for the first time use an 8-string
bass on record, only time will tell! Stay Tuned! /Rick

Demotional Overload

While Peter is recovering on the Bahamas with wine, women
an' song, it has been decided that the band will record and
finalize 3 songs for pre-production and demo use. The songs
involved are "Back On Track", "Inside The Fire" and
"The Greatest Enemy". This means that Conny and Fredrik
will enter the studio this weekend to record thundering bass
and howling vocals. The reason for these kind of recordings
is to show interested parties in which direction the band is
moving musically, before the album is finished.
Next week Peter will be back for more guitar,
and then Conny will carry on with his bass, to record what
will finally end up on the actual album. More news, scandals,
and pictures from this event, coming up ASAP! :)

The Weekend Warrior !

Hey, what can I say? Peter has been let loose in the studio for
this weekend, and has completed rhythm guitar tracks for all
songs, except "Back On Track"!
Very, very comitted and focused work, I must say!!
I guess rhythm tracks will be completed this week to come,
and then I think it's time for Mr. C Stingray to lay down some
busy bass crabs! :) But until then, let the inspiration flow for
this last song to be recorded, it has been decided it will be the
song that will open the album, so Peter, here's to You! :) /Rick

Rick went in,and I completed rhythm guitar tracks for
"Who Are You", "Eye Of The Beholder","The Greatest Enemy"

The Power And The Glory

Here it is, the latest family member to be introduced to
The Most Outstanding Band. After listening to, re-recording,
and at last dismissing all earlier recorded guitar tracks,
Peter went out and got this new amp of sheer power.
Me and Peter tested this baby out, and it really shook
the foundations of the studio! This mighty amp is called
Engl Powerball, and it will make this new record burn!
Stay tuned, recording sessions from scratch, beginning
this weekend! Way to go, Pete! :) /Rick
